Pip knows your level and remembers every word you’ve looked up. While you read the web or watch YouTube, it explains whenever you ask, saves your words and reminds you when to review.
Right on the sites you already visit.
Click “Read this page” and the ads and clutter are gone, leaving just the text. Tap a word for its meaning, turn on “Translation” to see it in your language, or have it read aloud.
Open a video with captions and click “Open transcript”. The transcript follows the video, and tapping a line jumps there.
Wherever you run into them later, they have an orange underline. When one is due, hover over it to review.
Where you get stuck, what you’re into, what you’ve corrected it on. Pip notes it all, so next time the explanation fits you better.
ChatGPT can explain a sentence. But it doesn’t know your level, and once the chat is over, it doesn’t remember which words you looked up.
Sign in and the same learning record goes wherever you do.
Click Pip in the toolbar to open the side panel. Look up, save and review words without leaving the page.
Say “help me review today’s words” and it already knows your words and your level. Requires an account.
No install, no sign-up. Take it right here on the website.
Each is graded on its own standard scale: CEFR, JLPT or TOPIK.
