After you install

Three steps to your first article

Pin Pip to the toolbar

Click the puzzle icon at the top right of your browser, then the pin next to Mossglen.

Open the side panel and pick a language

Click the Pip icon to open the side panel. The first time, it asks which language you’re learning.

Open an article and click “Read this page”

This opens reading mode. Tap words to look them up or save them, listen, turn on translation, and ask Pip when you’re stuck.

Before you install

Desktop Chrome or Edge. Nothing else to download.

Everything works without an account. Your progress is kept in an anonymous one.

It doesn’t upload the pages you browse. It only processes the page you choose to open in it.

Installation FAQ

Click the puzzle icon at the top right of your browser, find Mossglen, and click the pin next to it.

Unzip it, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode at the top right, click “Load unpacked” and choose the unzipped folder. In Edge, the steps are the same at edge://extensions.

Only words in your word list are marked. If you haven’t saved any yet, or the page isn’t in the language you’re learning, nothing will be marked.
