No. Everything works without one. Your progress is kept in an anonymous account and cleared after 30 days without use. Sign up to keep it permanently, sync across devices and let Pip remember you.

Your word list, reading history and level data are stored in your account. Words you’ve looked up are cached in your browser. Tap-to-define uses a translation API, not an AI model.
No. Each language is stored separately, and everything is still there when you switch back.
Within 7 days of purchase, you can request one from your account page. We review each request by hand and look at how much you’ve used; if you haven’t used much AI, it’s usually approved. After 7 days we can’t process refunds, but you can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal.
Go to your account page and click Manage subscription. You can cancel anytime, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Yes. Monthly plans renew every month, yearly plans every year. Cancel anytime and you won’t be charged again.
